she/her/hers
TATIANA BACCARI is a Florida born/Brooklyn-based director, theater practitioner, and creative producer. Her directing and dramaturgy work centers on womyn’s stories and the intersections between identity, gender and power. She is drawn to plays that misbehave, that pulse with athleticism, that grapple with big questions, and that are dramaturgically and formally rigorous. Tatiana serves as Artistic Director of Experimental Bitch Presents, a producing company and bitchy developer of new performative work. She has written, directed, and produced live theater at BRIC, NYU Gallatin, Joe’s Pub, HERE, The Flea, HappyLucky No. 1, Medicine Show Theatre, University Settlement, Greenpoint Gallery, At Peace Tea Factory and the Connelly Theater. Recent directing credits include PETRIFIED by Emma Goldman-Sherman (Chain Theatre), Trash Lord: Domestication by Sophia Heinecke (Performance Project), and HVMLET (Adapter/co-director, Connelly Theater). Tatiana received her BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She is part of the SDCF Observership class of 2019-2020.
