Sheila Duane is a three-time participant in the Downtown Urban Arts Festival NYC as a playwright and director. Her plays, Restoration Parts (2020), The Loom (2021), and The Palmist (2022) earned full productions as part of the DUAF.
She is a writing teacher at a community college in New Jersey, teaches playwriting at the Jersey Shore Arts Center, and co-produces a short play readign and discussion program, also at the JSAC. She holds a BA from the University of New Mexico, an MA from Monmouth University, and an MA from Rutgers University.
