MARIA ALADREN is a stage director and educator originally from Zaragoza, Spain.
Ms. Aladren has directed regionally in Texas, Missouri, Illinois, and New Jersey. While in Austin, she started a company focused on experimental productions, and on bridging different cultures. P51/Performance Project was awarded at several festivals and invited to NYC Fringe. Ms. Aladren has developed a conservatory theatre program at MCVTS Theatre, dedicated to training young artists. She continues to direct in NYC and area universities, focusing her research on devised theatre, collaborative creation, applied art, and the intersection of art and technology.
