MADHURI SHEKAR is a playwright from Chennai, India, whose plays include the award-winning In Love and Warcraft (Alliance Theatre and others), A Nice Indian Boy (East West Players, Rasaka Theatre) and Queen (upcoming world premiere at Victory Gardens). Her work has been developed at the Alliance Theatre, the Old Globe, Center Theatre Group, Victory Gardens, the Kennedy Center, the Hedgebrook Playwrights Festival and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. She co-wrote the web series ‘Titus and Dronicus‘ (www.titusanddronicus.com). MFA: USC
