LUCY GRAM is a freelance director and creative producer who specializes in developing new work.
Recent collaborations have been with playwrights Mike Poe ("Lost Girl," "Like Father"), Lindsay Joy ("A Dagger in His Smile") and Justice Hehir ("Kitten Season"). Other recent directing work includes "The Maid’s Tragedy" (Pocket Universe), and "War of the Worlds" (The Century Association). Lucy has also assisted directors such as Lisa Peterson, Jessica Kubzansky, Joe Grifasi, Wendy Dann, Rachel Lampert, and more at companies including Long Wharf Theatre, the Dallas Theater Center, and the Kitchen Theatre Company. As a producer, she has worked extensively with 2017 Kennedy Center Honoree Carmen de Lavallade, most recently as Associate Producer & Co-Writer on "Carmen de Lavallade: Life of a Legend" at Jazz at Lincoln Center. Lucy is an alumna of Director’s Lab West and has participated in Jon Shear’s Take Action Workshop. She is an LA native with a B.A. in Drama and English from Ithaca College. Lucy is a member of the 2019-2020 SDCF Observership class. |
