LIZZY BRYCE is a director and filmmaker in New York City. Her creative projects have been featured in The New York Times, Splitsider, Gothamist, Brokelyn, Animal NY, and more.
She is currently the Administrative Director of the League of Professional Theatre Women and serves as a Manhattan Chapter Co-Leader of Filmshop, a non-profit organization supporting emerging independent filmmakers. Lizzy was selected from over 5,000 applicants to be a finalist in The WB's Emerging Directors Program and served as a Producer/Director on UCB1, a video comedy team in UCB Comedy's Digital program. Her original web series, SHAM, was selected as IndieWIRE's Project of the Day. She was named by KitSplit as one of Six Inspiring Women to Watch in Film and Photography. In 2015, Lizzy partnered with comedian Matt Fisher (30 Rock) to form Carbonated Films, an indie production company that creates comedic video content for brands and artists. Prominent clients include Major League Soccer, Tushy Bidet, Gatherer Entertainment, and Try Anyway Productions. Her theatrical work has premiered at the Manhattan Repertory Theatre, Hudson Guild Theatre, La MaMa, and The New York and DC Fringe Festivals. This summer, The Washington Post called her playwriting "funny, and a little too true." Lizzy is a graduate of Pace University's Pforzheimer Honors College, majoring in Theatre Arts with a Directing focus, and the Nashua Careers in Education Video Production program. AFFILIATIONS
