Kelley Shih is a NYC based lighting designer and programmer for theater, music, dance, fashion and live events. She is passionate about exploring the intersection of technology, design and human experience. She is particularly interested in telling the stories of immigrants, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community.
Recent work includes KYLE at Madison Sq. Garden, Syd's Always Never Home Tour, The Internet's Laneway Festival appearances and additional performances in Korea, Japan, and Australia, The Blast (Amanda Plus James), Speaking As Then (Columbia University), and Capriccio (Apotheosis Opera). As an associate designer and programmer, she has worked in venues such as Radio City Music Hall, The Adrienne Arsht Center (Miami, FL), The Kennedy Center (Washington, D.C.), The Console Energy Center (Pittsburgh, PA), The Appel Room (Jazz at Lincoln Center) and the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.
