JONATHAN ALEXANDRATOS believes Queerness is old as f*ck. All of their recent work comes from this place, theatrically painting a timeline of gender non-conformity.
Jonathan's solo show about being a Non-Binary teacher with a massive action figure collection, TOYS 101: The Last Class, was performed in the So-Fi Festival. Their other current work focuses on Burrnesha people, a Non-Binary gender in Albania, where Jonathan's mother's family is from. Their work has been supported by Nashville Repertory Theatre's Ingram New Works Lab, the Queens Council on the Arts, Strange Sun Theatre, Mission to (dit)Mars, Fresh Ground Pepper, and others.
