JILL SANTORIELLO wrote book, music and lyrics for A Tale of Two Cities (Outer Critics Circle nomination for Outstanding Broadway musical and 3 Drama Desk nominations.) and It Happened in Key West.
She is one of two women in history to write book, music and lyrics for a Broadway musical. Jill adapted / co-produced the PBS television special "A Tale of Two Cities – in Concert” and the studio cast recording. “Tale” has been produced in Japan, Korea, U.K., Germany and the U.S.. Jill joined Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Schwartz and others on “Over the Moon: Broadway Lullaby Project” to benefit breast cancer research, collaborating with Pulitzer/ Oscar winner John Patrick Shanley on the song “Riding A White Horse”. A self taught musician, playing piano by ear, Jill is a 7-time ASCAP Plus Award winner and recipient of artist grants from Florida and New Jersey. Future projects include “Pollyanna” and “Outlander”.
