    JESSICA DUKATT is a New York based director, choreographer and actor. She focuses on creating new work challenging power structures. She seeks to make work that is inclusive, radical, boisterous and delightful.

    Born and raised outside of Chicago, she founded The Unit 14 Theatre Company; a company dedicated to enhancing the artistic voice of young adults by providing an independent environment for young people to create art. Her work at Unit 14 has been featured in The Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and WGN radio.

    Some recent directing credits include: The Wives of Henry the Eighth (Dir. The Bossy Collective/Royal Family Stage), Juliet & Romeo (Chor. Pocket Universe/Access Theatre) If You Give A Kid A Sucker (Dir. The Clementine Collective/The Hive), An all female/non-binary cast in Glengarry Glen Ross (Dir. NYU), The Vagina Monologues (Dir. The Unit 14 Theatre Company), Milk Milk Lemonade (Dir. NYU), Dutchman (Dir. NYU), Grounded (Dir. The Unit 14 Theatre Company), and Red (Dir. The Unit 14 Theatre Company). 

    She has assisted/associated for esteemed companies such as The TEAM (dir. Jessica Almasy), Built for Collapse (dir. Sanaz Ghajar and Dave Tennant), and Pocket Universe (dir. Alyssa May Gold). 

    As an actor Jessica enjoys working on new play development as a performer co-creator. Select acting credits include: Every Night They Go Someplace (NYU), Mefloquine Dreams (Dixon Place), Hall Pass (The Blindspot Collective), Reindeer Games (NYU), Deadbird (Scatterbrained Festival), and Proof (The Unit 14 Theatre Company).
