GENEVIEVE SIMON (she/they) centers women and nonbinary people in magical plays about mundane things. Their recent plays include Bloom Bloom Pow, Sister/Friend, Real Birds, Guarding, and Romeo + Juliet + Anybodys. Genevieve’s plays have been produced and developed in New York at The Tank, Corkscrew Theatre Festival, The People’s Improv Theatre, Pete’s Candy Store, and The HIVE. Regionally, heir plays have been seen at the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Arts on Site, PortFringe Festival, and with Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Apprentice Company.
