Emma has received artist residencies at Millay, Ragdale and twice at WordBRIDGE where she returned a third time as a dramaturg. She has worked as a dramaturg at GPTC (2015, 2016), founded the 29th Street Playwrights Collective and runs the WriteNow Workshop in NYC since 2015.

Emma's first memory of live theatre was at Philadelphia's Playhouse in the Park where she saw Peter Pan in the round and was thrilled to participate in the resurrection of Tinker Bell with collective applause. She has since then been obsessed with the power of theatre to confer healing and agency on audiences.
