Danielle Verkennes is a NYC based lighting designer who is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with her Masters of Fine Arts in Lighting Design.
While being new to the NYC arts area, she has recently designed Caroline, Or Change with the Astoria Performing Arts Center and has been the assistant lighting designer at theatres such as Playwrights Horizons (If Pretty Hurts Ugly Must Be a Muhfucka ) and The Duke Theatre(Happy Birthday, Wanda June). Her design credits vary from Opera, Dance, Musicals and Plays. Originally from Flint, Michigan; she received her Undergrad degree in Theatre Design and Technology from the University of Michigan-Flint. REFERENCES
