CHRISTINE FERRITER is an artist working with light, metal, and clay.
Her lighting design has been seen across the US and internationally at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space. Recent credits include Elevator Repair Service’s workshop showing of Seagull and NYC Gay Men’s Chorus at Lumberyard; Monument, or King Lear with Source Material Collective at Bootleg Theater (L.A.) and HERE Arts (NYC); rasgos asiáticos with CalArts CNP; King Lear and Through the Leaves at CalArts; Loot with Odyssey Theatre Ensemble; Group Therapy with Poor Dog Group at CAP/UCLA, Loaded with Heidi Duckler Dance at the Ford Amphitheater; and Brainwashed, a new feature documentary based on director Nina Menkes' performance lecture, Sex and Power: the Visual Language of Oppression in Cinema. Formerly, Christine was a Master Electrician and Moving Light Programmer at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival from 2014-2017 and Assistant Lighting Supervisor at Actors Theatre of Louisville from 2011-2014.
