CAITLIN DAVIES is a New York-based director and actor who specializes in new play development.
Directing credits include Rescue Gone Wrong (Manhattan Rep); This Is Why (NY Summerfest); Harsh and Exciting; Appropriate; Screwed (Hunger & Thirst Theatre); Ziggy Alpha (Shotz/Amios); a workshop of A Thousand Shapes (Trinity Repertory Company), readings with Wyrd Sisters Productions (of which she is a founding member/producer), and mutli-cast audiobook productions (Macmillan Audio). Caitlin has assistant directed at Alabama Shakespeare Festival (The Sound of Music, directed by Rick Dildine), Trinity Repertory Company (Into The Breeches!, directed by Tyler Dobrowsky), and off-Broadway with the Mint Theater Company (2018 Drama Desk Nominated Hindle Wakes, directed by Gus Kaikkonen). She holds a B.A. from Vassar College and an MFA in Acting from Brown/Trinity. At Brown/Trinity, she studied directing under the mentorship of Brian Mertes (Daytime Emmy award winner). Caitlin received an SDCF Observership and is an SDC associate member.
