ASH SANBORN is a playwright/activist/journalist from Iowa, whose play, "The Feast of Jovi Bono premiered at Manhattan Rep Theatre in 2013.
Ash's work centers on the stories of strong, historical women whose challenges are brought to the chaos, desperation, and hope of the 21st century. Ash's play, "Davi" a modern retelling of the legend of Dymphna, the patron saint of people with mental illness, had a reading as the opening plenary at the John R. Milton Writer's Conference at the University of South Dakota. Her work has won several awards and has had readings and workshops in Boston, Pittsburgh, and Iowa. AFFILIATIONS
