ANYA KOPISCHKE is a playwright and media artist with a passion for a holistic approach to theatre-making. Plays and performances include "Women Screaming" (The Tank) "Belly of the Ship" (the Bechdel Group) "Can We Keep It" (Luma Theatre) "Internet Nostalgia" (Am I Write Ladies) and "Chopped!" (The Wild Project). They have worked extensively with interdisciplinary and devised theatre practices (often integrating video art, music, circus arts, and comedy into their work) and have worked professionally in various aspects of theatre:
Anya has designed for Dutch Kills Theater, The Surrealist Training Circus, Church of the Millenials, and FEST. They have edited footage for The Wooster Group, Don't Think Productions, Nanners Comedy, and Door Kinetic Arts Festival. They have managed media for designers and arts festivals alike. Anya is a graduate of Bard College and a founding member and producer of the Tom Collective. |
