ANDREA ANDRESAKIS began performing at Lincoln Center at the age of nine. She appeared in both the film and television series Fame and later directed the stage version at the Barrington Stage Company.
Ms. Andresakis’ dozens of New York City directing and choreographing credits include The Little Prince (Merkin Concert Hall), Little Shop of Horrors (Theatre at St. Clements), The Egg Progect (NYC International Fringe Festival), Spandex and My Purple Wig (both Off-Broadway). Regional credits include Crimes of The Heart (Chenango River Theatre, NY), Beauty and The Beast (Bartlesville Center, OK) and the east coast premiere of The Marvelous Wonderettes. She spent five months each in India and China directing, choreographing and teaching. Honors include a grant from the Stage Director’s and Choreographer’s Foundation to direct Arms and The Man at Eastern Mennonite University and a Best Ensemble award from the Kennedy Center for Spring Awakening at Whitman College.
