AMY ENGELHARDT made her Off-Broadway debut as composer/lyricist of BASTARD JONES, a rock adaptation of Henry Fielding’s TOM JONES, OBA Best New Musical Nominee and Richard Rodgers finalist.
Other credits include TRIPTYCH (book/music/lyrics) for the New York Transit Museum, lyrics for Carl Sagan's CONTACT (Puget Sound Theatre Award), NICHOLAS NICKLEBY and TESLA, and music/lyrics for A COMEDY OF ERAS (The Bobs/The Flying Karamazov Brothers). Amy was Creator/Artistic Producer of TUNE IN TIME: New York’s Musical Theater Game Show at the York Theatre, winner of the Dottie Burman Award for Songwriting from the Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) and resident composer at the Nautilus Composer/Librettist Studio in Los Angeles. Amy writes/arranges custom material for clients including The Cooper Union and Harry Shearer’s CHRISTMAS WITHOUT TEARS, and is a proud member of MAESTRA and ASCAP. From 1998-2011, Amy was the sole female vocalist/writer/arranger for Grammy-nominated, genre-busting vocal band The Bobs. AFFILIATIONS:
