ALI MACLEAN (she/her), an award-winning playwright, TV writer, and mental health advocate, is a graudate of the Miami University actor’s program and the LaJolla Playhouse acting conservatory.
Her writing has been staged in LA, NY, and London. Ali’s play She’s Not There received the John Gassner Award, SheNYC Arts Best Play, and a Broadway World Directing Award nomination. Wolves At The Door won the Julie Harris Playwright Award, and finaled for the O’Neill Conference, among others. Ali participated in the 24 Hour Plays Monologues alongside Kenneth Lonergan and Matthew Broderick, and has worked with The Tank NYC, Arcola UK, ANDTheatre, The Playwrights Realm, The Cloud Factory, Citadel of Playwrights (Resident Artist), Greenlight Women, The Sundance Collective, and the Dramatists Guild. She’s currently developing a rocknroll musical with producer Sean Daniels and The Hold Steady frontman Craig Finn. AFFILIATIONS: SAG-AFTRA Dramatists Guild
