ALEX RANDRUP is a devised theatre-maker, director, producer, and curator engaged in collaborative theatre-making practices that center intersectional and feminist stories.
Current projects in development include "The Lavender Menace!" (developed at Dixon Place in May 2019; coming up as part of the FailSafe Festival in August 2019); "The Orange Tree Plays" (developed as "Love Magic Ritual Spell" at Dixon Place in February 2018); and "Corey And Vanessa Present An All-Female Educational Touring Production Of Of Mice And Men (produced at The Tank in July 2018; developed as "A History of Nasty Women" in 2018 at Cloud City and HERE). Alex has also collaborated on new plays at The Flea, The Tank, University Settlement, and the wild project, and with Target Margin Theater, The Anthropologists, and Barn Arts Collective. Alex is the producer/curator of FEAST: A Performance Series, currently in its third season at UNDER St. Marks Theater, and the creator of I'm Trying, a theatre-making group. She is an alum of Directors Lab North and residencies with Rebel Theatre Company and Barn Arts Collective's Hamilton Project. |
